With the Ligna-Span™ System, Corrosion Resist
Steel Plates are hidden in robotically machined slots in the timber,
and then secured with small diameter steel pins, creating a connection
that looks light and elegant. This connection distributes the
load over a large area, thus producing a significantly more rigid
connection than the typical steel secured with unsightly bolts.
The Ligna-Span™ System is perfect for buildings
requiring large, clear spans, with spans greater than 200 feet.
